School of Business at Seton Hill U. Expands: Adds New MBA and Undergraduate Degree & Certificate Options

The Business School at Seton Hill University is dedicated to developing forward-thinking, ethical and innovative business leaders. To support these goals, Seton Hill’s School of Business is expanding, adding new online MBA Programs, online and on-campus bachelor's degrees, and new faculty.

At the master’s level, Seton Hill’s Business School offers a robust online MBA Program with several career-relevant areas of focus. Brand new MBA degrees in Business Analytics; Leadership and Management; and Cybersecurity Risk Management have been added to the programs’ existing offerings in Forensic Accounting and Fraud Examination; Healthcare Administration; and Project Management. Seton Hill also provides stackable, online, graduate-level certificates in many of their MBA areas of specialization.

New Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degrees in Accounting, Accounting - CPA, Finance, Financial Economics, Business Management, Business Communication, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Sports Management and International Business join an existing program in Communication at the traditional, 4-year, undergraduate degree level. The Communication Program has added seven areas of specialization: advocacy and nonprofit; business writing; ethics and leadership; instructional design; mass and broadcast media; public relations and social media; and sports communication.

Seton Hill’s new Online Bachelor’s and Certificates Program also includes several business degrees and certificates: Accounting; Accounting-CPA; Business Administration; Healthcare Administration; Healthcare Management; Human Resource Management; and Marketing.

“Seton Hill opened a lot of doors and windows for me.”

Many Seton Hill business students take advantage of the University’s FastForward Bachelor’s to Master’s Program. By enrolling in this program as undergrads, they can earn their bachelor’s and MBA at Seton Hill in an accelerated time frame. This was the route taken by recent alumnus Michael Metosky, who earned his sports management bachelor’s and MBA at Seton Hill. Soon after graduating, he applied for a highly-competitive position with the Miami Dolphins and got it.

Metosky had struggled in high school, but received exceptional support from the faculty and student support services at Seton Hill, who, he says, “invested a ton of time in me.”

“I just didn’t see my own promise,” he said. “Seton Hill opened a lot of doors and windows for me.”

Seton Hill business alumna Nicole Nath, who just had the honor of ringing the NASDAQ opening bell on behalf of her company, Abiomed, agrees.

"Having professors who knew your name and your strengths and weaknesses was beneficial, especially if you felt stuck making an important decision about your education or future career plans."

Unlike other universities, Seton Hill offers competitive tuition and generous, individualized aid packages at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Tuition discounts for Seton Hill alumni, and those working for nonprofits or Seton Hill Employer Partners, are available. The Online Bachelor’s and Graduate Programs offer flexible scheduling and accelerated options. Seton Hill’s award-winning Career and Professional Development Center supports all students and is a lifetime benefit for Seton Hill alumni.

Seton Hill University is an Apple Distinguished School, and a U.S. News & World Report Best Value and Best Regional University. The School of Business at Seton Hill University has received specialized accreditation for its business programs through the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE). Seton Hill has also been named a College of Distinction in Business by Colleges of Distinction.

“Both the undergrad business program and MBA Program are great programs to help prepare you for your career,” says Seton Hill alumnus Stephen Walker, corporate human resources manager at PulteGroup, one of America’s largest homebuilding companies. “All of the professors are very engaged with helping students grow and learn in a professional environment. All of the education I received has helped manifest my career and I would encourage anyone who is thinking about enrolling to do it because it’s 100% worth it.”
