Mission Statement

The Physical Therapy Program at Seton Hill University embraces patient-centered care of the whole person in the Judeo-Christian tradition.  Physical Therapy Program graduates are prepared to think and act critically, creatively and ethically, as highly-competent clinicians committed to transforming the world. 

Goals

Students who graduate from Seton Hill’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program will have the ability to practice autonomously in all settings, and will embrace:

  • lifelong learning 
  • use of evidence to maintain contemporary expertise
  • shared decision-making through patient/client collaboration
  • public service to promote community health and wellness
