GREENSBURG, PA- The Seton Hill College, Division of Visual and Performing Arts will present the Westmoreland Symphonic Winds "Pops" Concert on Saturday, April 28, 2001 at 8:00 p.m. in Cecilian Hall on campus. The program will feature: the Westmoreland Symphonic Winds Jazz Ensemble, the Seton Hill College Community Music Program Youth Honors Band and the Westmoreland Symphonic Winds. The Westmoreland Symphonic Winds Jazz Ensemble will play Straight No Chaser by Thelonious Monk, Too Soon Tomorrow by Pat Metheny, Sister Sadie by Horace Silver, Canto Abacua’ by Ruben Blades and Friday Night at the Cadillac Club by Bob Berg. The Westmoreland Symphonic Winds will play Themes From Thus Spake Zarathustra (2001 Space Odyssey) by Richard Strauss and Star Wars Trilogy by John Williams. Kathleen M. Campbell is the Music Director and Conductor with Randolph Budd as the Assistant Conductor. The Westmoreland Symphonic Winds is in its Fifteenth Season.
