The Seton Hill softball team, coming off their most successful season since joining the NCAA, was selected to finish second in the PSAC West in the PSAC Softball Preseason Coaches Poll, the league released on Thursday afternoon.  The poll is voted on by all of the leagues head coaches.  The Griffins finished the season with a 33-15-1 record and advanced to their first ever NCAA Atlantic Regional.  After dropping the first game at the regional to WV Wesleyan, the Griffins won two contests before being knocked out in the regional final by Wesleyan.
