Seton Hill University welcomed 471 new students for the 2019-20 academic year when classes began on Monday, August 26. Among the first-year students are 404 freshmen members of the Class of 2023 and 67 transfer students.
First-year resident students moved into Seton Hill residence halls on August 23 with the assistance of members of the university's football team and men's lacrosse team.
The Class of 2023 boasts an average GPA of 3.66 with 43 percent ranked in the top quarter of their high school class and 78 percent ranked in the top half.
Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York and Ohio are the most popular states of residence for the freshman class while, internationally, Seton Hill’s new students hail from 10 countries.
