Lyz is a full-time faculty member, a business counselor, entrepreneur and certified business advisor. Over her career, she has assisted and supported over 2,000 individuals, small businesses and organizations from ideation to startup to sunset. She holds a certification for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in the Workplace. An active community volunteer, she currently serves on several boards, including The Blackburn Center, Pheple Federal Credit Union, and Women Empowered for Entrepreneurial Excellence. She is also Outreach Chair for the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (USASBE), Minority & Women Entrepreneurs Special Interest Group. Marshall is passionate about supporting and volunteering with underserved communities by using entrepreneurship as a vehicle for change.
