Seton Hill jumper Patrick O'Connor earned his second All-American honor of the year by finishing in fourth place in the high jump at the 2017 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championship held at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.  Patrick was seventh in the high jump at the Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships held earlier this year.

The sophomore from Middlesbrough, England cleared 2.01 meters in his second attempt.  He then took all three attempts at 2.06 meters, clearing the bar on his third and final attempt.  Patrick cleared 2.10 meters on his first attempt to lock up All American honors.  O'Connor couldn't clear the bar at 2.13 meters in his three attempts, ending the championships with a fourth place finish.

Cervantes Jackson from Albany State cleared both 2.13 and 2.16 meters to earn the national championship.  Tanner Step from Carson Newman cleared 2.13 meters but failed all three attempts at 2.16 for a runner up finish.
