Exhibit featuring regional female artists and juried by Seton Hill art students to run through November 21 at Harlan Gallery

The Harlan Gallery at Seton Hill University is proud to present Women In Art 2005, an exhibit featuring regional women artists in a variety of media. Women in Art 2005 will open Thursday, November 3 with a reception from 4-7 p.m., and will run through Monday, November 21. The opening reception will include an awards ceremony at 6 p.m. announcing and honoring the top three award winners in the exhibit. A panel symposium on issues facing women in the arts will be held in conjunction with this exhibit on Friday, November 11 at 11 a.m. in Reeves Theatre, next to Harlan Gallery on Seton Hill's Greensburg, Pa. campus. The reception, exhibit and symposium are all free and open to the public. Harlan Gallery's hours are: Monday - Thursday 5:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.; Friday 1 - 3 p.m.; and Sunday 1 - 4 p.m.

Students participating in Seton Hill's Women In Art seminar selected the art for Women in Art 2005 and will also serve as docents for the exhibit. (Docent tours are available by appointment.)
