Two Griffins Earn NSCAA All Region Honors
Two members of the Seton Hill men's soccer program have been honored by the NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association of America). Senior midfielder Joe Tchimou and sophomore midfielder Joe Smith were both named to the 2014 NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Men's All Atlantic Region Team. Tchimou was a second team selection while Smith was named to the third team. The teams are votes on by the coaches in the region that are members of the NSCAA. Seton Hill finished the regular season with a 11-5-2 record and a 7-3-1 record in PSAC play, good for third place in the PSAC. SHU defeated California 1-0 in the PSAC Quarterfinals before falling 1-0 to Bloomsburg in the PSAC Semifinals. The Griffins were then eliminated by Post in the ECAC Semifinals.
