Dear Seton Hill Faculty, Staff and Students,

On behalf of the Seton Hill University Board of Trustees, I invite the entire University community to join me in extending sincere thanks to Bibiana “Bibie” Boerio (SHU ’75) for her steadfast leadership as Interim President.

Bibie took on this vital role at a critical time in the life of Seton Hill and accepted the responsibility with great determination. As a distinguished businesswoman whose career at Ford Motor Company spanned the financial, marketing and strategic sectors, Bibie navigated a multitude of challenges while providing keen leadership to Seton Hill as the University embarked on two major building projects. She also served as a steady hand as we mourned the loss of President Emerita JoAnne Boyle and commemorated the one-year anniversary of the tragic lacrosse team bus accident.

As an alumna, Bibie’s dedication to Seton Hill has been evident throughout her time as Interim President. She possesses a deep appreciation of and commitment to Seton Hill’s distinctive identity as a Catholic, liberal arts institution.

She has been involved in every facet of the life of Seton Hill – meeting with alumni and community leaders, listening to the needs of students and attending numerous events and athletic contests.

Her energy, her passion and loyalty, and her acuity have helped advance the legacy of the University’s distinctive Setonian tradition.

We will be forever grateful for Bibie's leadership.

Mary Finger, Ed.D. begins her tenure with Seton Hill University on June 1, 2014.

Thank you for your continuing support of Seton Hill. All you do is cherished and vital to the continued success of our wonderful university.

Sincerely,

Michele M. Ridge

Chair, Board of Trustees
