After a disappointing one and done performance at last year's PSAC Baseball Championships, the Griffin baseball team is looking to make a little history in its second season of play in the PSAC.  Seton Hill finished the regular season with a 39-9 overall record and a 22-6 record in PSAC West play, good for a tie with Mercyhurst for the division title but the Griffins lost the third tiebreaker to the Lakers so will be the second seed for the tournament.  SHU will open the tournament on Thursday afternoon when they take on Shippensburg, the number three seed from the East at 3:30 PM at Kelly Automotive Park in Butler, PA.  The first matchup of the day features #3W Slippery Rock and #2E West Chester at 9:30 AM.  #1W Mercyhurst will take on #4E East Stroudsburg at 12:30 PM.  The nightcap features #1E Millersville against #4W California at 6:30 PM.  The losers of the first two games will meet at 9:30 on Thursday in an elimination game while the winners will meet at 3:30 PM.  The SHU/Ship loser will meet the Mill/Cal loser at 12:30 PM on Thursday while the two winners will meet at 6:30 PM.  The tournament will continue on Friday and Saturday in Butler with the PSAC Champion earning the league automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
