Greensburg, PA – Dr. Alicia Costa, S.S.F., recently joined Seton Hill University as an assistant professor of education.

Sister Costa, former assistant principal and teacher at St. Mary’s Academy in New Orleans, holds both a doctorate degree and a master’s degree in educational administration from the University of New Orleans. She also has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Loyola University of the South. Sister Costa also served as a teacher at Holy Rosary Institute in Lafayette, La., St. Francis Xavier School in Baton Rouge, La., and All Saints School in New Orleans, La.

Sister Costa is interested in improving public school culture in the inner city.

Sister Costa, a Sister of the Holy Family of New Orleans, is residing at Regina House in Greensburg, Pa. with the Sisters of Charity, the founders of Seton Hill University.
