Seton Hill Volleyball Team Wins First PSAC Championship

For the first time in school history, the Seton Hill volleyball team has won a PSAC Championship.

The Griffins defeated top-seeded Gannon University in a thrilling 3-2 victory at Gannon on Sunday, November 11 to earn their first-ever crown.

The PSAC tournament win gave the Griffins an automatic bid into the NCAA Atlantic Regional Tournament. It’s the fourth time Seton Hill’s volleyball team has made a regional tournament appearance and the second year in a row.

The Griffins, with a 24-8 overall record, earned the No. 3 seed in the region.

In the regional tournament, the Griffins defeated California University of Pennsylvania and Gannon to advance to the Atlantic Regional Final for the first time in Seton Hill history.

With a chance to play in the NCAA Division II National Tournament on the line, the Griffins fought hard against No. 1 seed Wheeling-Jesuit University, but ultimately fell 3-2, ending their season.
