Seton Hill University's Society for Human Resource Management Student Chapter was presented the Superior Merit Award by the Society for Human Resource Management for its accomplishments during 2008-2009.

The annual Student Chapter Merit Award program recognizes university chapters for outstanding activities and programs in four areas, including basic student chapter requirements, chapter programming and professional development of members, support of the human resource profession, and partnership with the Society for Human Resource Management.

Catherine Giunta, Ph.D., associate professor of business, is the adviser of the student chapter.
