GREENSBURG, PA- Seton Hill University Freshman Ashley Welker of West Chester, Ohio took first place with the lowest score at the Seton Hill University Invitational at the Ligonier Country Club on Monday, October 7, 2002. Welker shot an 87 on the par 71 course.

Welker also took second place at the two-day Malone College Invitational with a combined score of 169 for Friday, October 11 and Saturday, October 12, 2002.
