Seton Hill University’s freshman class for the 2014-15 academic year moved in to campus residence halls on Friday, August 22.

Seton Hill University welcomed the 330 members of the Class of 2018 as well as 70 transfer students to campus as the first-year students moved in to campus residence halls. Members of Seton Hill’s football and men’s lacrosse teams assisted the new students and their parents during the move-in process.

This year’s freshmen maintained high academic standards during their high school careers, attaining an average 3.6 GPA with 46 percent of the class earning a GPA of 3.75 or higher. Members of the Class of 2018 hail from 23 states as well as Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. In addition, the class includes 24 international students – the most ever for an incoming class at Seton Hill.

Classes began for the fall 2014 semester on Monday, Aug. 25.
