The Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) recognized Seton Hill University’s SHRM Student Chapter with the 2009 National Merit Award.

The National Merit Award program recognizes the best student chapters across the nation. In 2009, 123 SHRM-affiliated student chapters participated in the National Merit Award program. These chapters demonstrated a strong ability to provide innovative networking and education opportunities to all members.

SHRM student chapters have the opportunity to compete for the award based on the size of the chapter and the number of activities they complete during the National Merit Award cycle, which was from April 1, 2008 to March 31, 2009.
