Seton Hill University is providing a downtown Greensburg shuttle service at no cost to its students in order to accommodate the transportation needs of students who are studying at the new Performing Arts Center, located on Harrison Avenue, and Visual Arts Center, located on Pennsylvania Avenue. Any Seton Hill student or faculty/staff member may take advantage of the shuttle service by presenting a valid University identification card.

The shuttle, which can hold 25 students, completes a 2.5 mile loop which begins on the campus of Seton Hill University at the Technology Learning Commons and travels to the first stop at the Albright parking lot off Pallitta Avenue. The shuttle then proceeds to the Visual Arts Center on Pennsylvania Avenue, where the stop is located on West Second Street. Finally, the last stop is on Harrison Avenue at the Performing Arts Center and Center for Family Therapy.

The shuttle operates Monday thru Friday from 8:20 a.m.-midnight. On the weekends, the shuttle operates from 12 noon until 11:30 p.m.

“We have developed an initial shuttle schedule to accommodate student travel during peak and off peak periods. As we implement this schedule, we are soliciting student input to determine the schedule that best fits their needs, and will make adjustments as necessary, both in terms of getting students to classes and to allow them to regularly patronize restaurants and businesses in downtown Greensburg,” said Curt Scheib, D.M.A, chairperson of the Division of Visual and Performing Arts.
