Members of the fall 2007 Seton Hill Senior Integrative Seminar taught by Sr. Ann Infanger, SC, PhD, will present a check for more than $200 to the Humane Society of Westmoreland County on Friday, November 16, 2007.

The class coordinated and implemented a kickball game fundraising event that was held Sunday, November 11 on Seton Hill’s campus. All members of the Seton Hill community were invited to participate, and all players donated $1 to enjoy the event. The Senior Integrative Seminar at Seton Hill is a capstone seminar that provides students an opportunity to examine personal values in relationship to society. Students in every senior seminar develop and participate in a socially responsible action project.

Sr. Ann’s class created the K-9 Kickball event, according to Sr. Ann, “to advance two objectives of the Catholic Social Justice Teaching: ‘participation’ (encouraging members of Seton Hill community to take part in an intramural sports event) and ‘stewardship of creation’ by helping dogs and cats.”
