To top off an already spectacular sophomore season on the track that included a national championship, Mallory Sanner has been named one of the USTFCCCA Division II Track and Field Scholar Athletes of the Year.  Sanner joins Helen Crofts of Simon Fraser, Erin Alewine of Central Missouri  and Danielle Williams of Johnson C. Smith as the four scholar athletes of the year for the season.  Carrying a 3.77 cumulative GPA as an elementary education major with a specialization in special education, Sanner is the outdoor field Scholar Athlete of the Year. The Uniontown, Pa., native defeated the defending champion to win the javelin title with a mark of 162-2 (49.43m) — a mark that places her in the top 10 all-time in Division history.  Sanner is the first Seton Hill student athlete to earn a scholar athlete of the year award.
