Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre Presents "Icon and Echoes" April 7 at Seton Hill

Seton Hill University will once again host a performance by Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre at the Seton Hill University Performing Arts Center.

Icon and Echoes will feature excerpts from Jiří Kylián’s Petite Mort as well as New Works choreographed by PBT dancers Cooper Verona, JoAnna Schmidt, Jessica McCann and Yoshiaki Nakano.

This is the third consecutive year that Seton Hill and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre have collaborated on a PBT performance at Seton Hill’s Performing Arts Center, located at 100 Harrison Ave., Greensburg, Pa.

In 2016 and 2017, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre presented “Millennial Movement,” which featured world-premiere works choreographed by PBT dancers at Seton Hill.

Seton Hill’s collaboration with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre includes a residency program, where PBT dancers teach Seton Hill dance students their original choreography. Seton Hill students will perform what they learned at the residency during a pre-performance program on April 7.

Tickets to “Icon and Echoes” are $100 for VIP admission, $35 for regular admission, $10 for Senior Citizens and $8 for Students.
