Office of Alumni Relations Announces Leadership Changes

The Seton Hill Offices of Alumni Relations has announced a leadership change effective March 1.

After more than 28 years at Seton Hill and more than 12 years as Director of Alumni Relations, Mary Ross Cox will take on a new role at the university as Director of Alumni and Donor Events. Ashley Kunkle, who had served as the Alumni Relations Associate, has been named Director of Alumni Relations.

As Seton Hill celebrated its Centennial in 2018, the university relied heavily on Mary Cox's expertise in event planning and coordination as Seton Hill held numerous alumni, donor, and community gatherings during this special time in the university's history. It became evident that Seton Hill needed Mary to take on an expanded role in supporting institution-wide events for alumni, friends, faculty, staff, students and community members to enhance awareness and visibility for the university. While Mary will report directly to President Mary Finger, she will continue to work closely with Institutional Advancement coordinating and planning signature Seton Hill events.

Ashley Kunkle has proven herself a valuable member of the Alumni Relations Office at Seton Hill. Ashley has been working to establish new Alumni Affinity Groups and Chapters and build the Career Connections Program.  In her new role, she will expand upon the initiatives underway while determining new and varied opportunities for alumni engagement.

Congratulations to Mary and Ashley on their new roles.
