Seton Hill scored the first goal but it was not enough as they were defeated by Mercyhurst in PSAC action on Tuesday afternoon by the score of 3-1.  The Griffins fall to 4-8 overall and 1-4 in PSAC play.  Dominique Cappello gave the Griffins a 1-0 lead just 6:59 into the first half but that would be the last goal the Griffins would get.  Mercyhurst tied the score at 1 with a goal with 14 minutes remaining in the first half.  The Lakers took the lead for good with 5 minutes to play in the first half and closed out the scoring with a goal 30 seconds into the second half.  Autumn Reid recorded 11 saves in net.  SHU will host East Stroudsburg on Sunday afternoon at noon.
