The Griffin field hockey team played its final PSAC tune up before opening PSAC play on Friday at Millersville.  That tune up did not go well as the Griffins were defeated on the road by East Stroudsburg by the score of 5-1.  SHU falls to 3-4 overall on the season.  Seton Hill scored the first goal of the contest just 1:24 into the first half when Ashley Reid gave the Griffins a 1-0 lead.  SHU held the 1-0 lead for 20 minutes before ESU tied the score at one.  ESU scored three more goals before the half to take a 4-1 halftime advantage.  ESU closed out the scoring with a goal with 16 minutes to play in the second half.  The Griffins will open PSAC play on Friday at Millersville with a 4 PM start.
