GREENSBURG, PA – Seton Hill University senior center Ales Chan was named an NAIA Men's Basketball All-American Honorable Mention selection for the 2004 season.

Chan, an AMC 1st Team All Conference selection, led the Griffins in their inaugural season with 17 points, 10.4 rebounds and 4 blocks per contest. His season included Seton Hill’s first-ever triple double with 26 points, 15 rebounds, and an AMC record 12 blocked shots against Notre Dame College.

Seton Hill finished the regular season in second place in the American Mideast Conference North Division with a 9-5 conference mark. The Griffins dropped their AMC Tournament quarterfinal game to Ohio Dominican 66-57 to finish their 2003-04 campaign with a 18-8 overall record.

Other Seton Hill players receiving post-season honors included sophomore forward Daniel George, named to the American Mideast Conference Second Team, and freshmen guards Bojan Nikolavski and Zarko Kostic, both AMC Honorable Mentions selections. Kostic and Nikolavski were both represented on the AMC North Division All-Freshman Team for the 2003-04 season.
