Seton Hill University’s Visual Arts program, CareerWorks, Farrell Programs for Innovation in Business, and E-Magnify women’s business center, in cooperation with the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg, will host an art walk on Pennsylvania Avenue in Greensburg, Pa., on Friday, September 11, from 2-4 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. For more information on the Art Entre Walk, call 724-830-1948.

The “Art Entre-Walk” features stops at some of Greensburg’s art establishments including Penelope’s, Art Tech, Mustard Seed Gallery, Inc., DV8, and the Seton Hill University Visual Arts Center (215 South Pennsylvania Avenue), where an open house will be held and light refreshments will be served.

“The Art Entre-Walk will showcase galleries and businesses and students will benefit from experiential learning outside of the classroom. They will engage the owners in dialogue about why they made the decision to become an entrepreneur and what skills would assist a student who wants to become an entrepreneur,” said Rebecca Campbell, director, CareerWorks, Seton Hill University

“We are pleased to be hosting this event and want to make it an annual fall activity in Greensburg. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover the vision and mission for the art businesses and how the owners use entrepreneurial skills on a daily basis,” said Maureen Vissat, assistant professor of art at Seton Hill University.
