Sarah Ludwig, LPC is an adjunct professor in the Art Therapy Program at Seton Hill University (SHU). Prior to earning a teaching position at SHU, Sarah provided numerous trainings to community organizations and institutions related to providing trauma-informed care, treating individuals with borderline personality disorder and trauma related disorders, clinician burn out prevention, mindfulness, and working with survivors of victimization, with sexual violence being her specialty. Sarah has a vast amount of experience in the helping field in an array of clinical settings (inpatient, residential, outpatient, family-based, and drug and alcohol) with a variety of populations. She currently owns her own private practice where she focuses on trauma-focused treatment in addition to co-occurring disorders and provides clinical supervision to pre-licensed clinicians. She is a provider of EMDR and TF-CBT and is dedicated to learning and improving her clinical skills to better help her clients and students. She is a highly passionate clinician and educator and values trauma-informed care, cultural competency, genuineness, integrity, and educating current and future clinicians to not only be knowledgeable, but to be excited about the work they do to help others through some of the most challenging moments in their lives.
