A book critic specializing in genre fiction for the last two decades, Paul Goat Allen has written more than 8,000 book reviews for companies like Publishers Weekly, The Chicago Tribune, Kirkus Reviews, BarnesandNoble.com, BookPage, and BlueInk Review. He is a member of the National Book Critics Circle and has also published one novel, numerous short stories, and self-published two collections of poetry. A lifelong resident of New York, he lives in Syracuse with his wife and two children.
