I am a graduate of Westminster College with a degree in Elementary Education and Childhood Development. Upon completion of my Bachelor's, I went on to the University of Pittsburgh to get my Master's in Reading. Upon graduation, I began teaching as a Title I teacher, then moving into a First Grade classroom. I love working with children but also helping mold the future of education. I am currently in the last year of classes and working on my dissertation at Indiana University of Pennsylvania to obtain my doctorate in Curriculum & Instruction. My expected graduation is May 2025.
