Here is my background information. I am full-time Accounting/Business Professor at a small Southwestern Pennsylvania College for the last 18 years. In the past I have taught Business Analytics, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Principles in Accounting I and II, Intermediate Accounting I and II, Managerial and Cost Accounting, Integrated Computer Accounting Software, Payroll Software Accounting and Taxation. I have taught at Chatham University, Community College of Allegheny College, Penn State University, Robert Morris University, Seton Hill University, Westmoreland County Community College. A benefit of teaching at different institutions is that I am able to see different textbooks and teaching methods used for the same course. I taught courses with Angel, BlackBoard, Canvas and D2L in-person, hybrid and online. My work experience includes ten years of accounting at Allegheny Energy and KPMG Peat Marwick, Sony and Heinz. I am a Microsoft Office User Specialist for Excel and PowerPoint and am very experienced with the rest of Microsoft Office software, as well as Intuit’s QuickBooks accounting software. I am a Certified Management Accountant, Certified in Financial Management, passed the Certified Public Accountant exam and have a Master’s in Business Administration and Masters of Science in Accounting from Robert Morris College, and a Master’s in Business Education from Robert Morris University. I also have a Bachelors in Accounting from Robert Morris College and Bachelors of Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh.
