Originally, I am from Lima, Peru and I am a native to the Spanish language of South America. I am an adjunct faculty member at Seton Hill University, since 2018, teaching undergraduate-level courses in Spanish. Prior to joining the Seton Hill faculty, I taught Spanish courses at Westmoreland County Community College, Youngwood campus and at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg. I am member of the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP), Southwestern Pennsylvania Chapter and has presented frequently at conferences on the teaching aspects of the Spanish language. Additional interests include Spanish linguistics, second language acquisition in Spanish, Hispanic sociolinguistics, and translation. I enjoy reading literature and music.
