David Stanley has been the library director at Seton Hill University’s Reeves Memorial Library since 1997. Along with his duties as director he has also served occasionally as an adjunct faculty member teaching freshman Seminar in Thinking and Writing, Connections, Senior Seminar, and in the former Technologies Enhanced Learning graduate program. He is an active member of Rotary of Westmoreland and the Western Pennsylvania/West Virginia Chapter of the Association of College and Research Libraries. Born and raised in Pittsburgh he now resides in the Hempfield Township section of Westmoreland County. He received his bachelor’s degree with a major in English Literature and a minor in Biology as well as his master’s degree in Library Science from the University of Pittsburgh and his Ph.D. in liberal arts with a specialization in Educational Leadership from The Union Institute & University.
