I graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. I then attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, earning my Juris Doctor in 2011. During law school, I interned at the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office in the Narcotics Unit and was a topics editor for the Pittsburgh Journal of Environmental and Public Health Law. After successfully passing the Pennsylvania bar exam, I opened a private law practice and was appointed a Guardian Ad Litem where I represented dependent children. At the same time, I was sworn in as a part-time Assistant District Attorney in Fayette County where I was responsible for appeals and prosecuting a variety of criminal cases, including serious felonies and homicide. In 2015, I was hired as a full-time prosecutor in the Westmoreland County District Attorney’s Office where I prosecute a variety of criminal cases.
