Seton Hill’s Community Arts Program offers music and dance lessons to members of the general public and provides performance and educational opportunities for regional music programs and ensembles.
- The Community Music Program offers private music lessons and ensembles with Seton Hill University faculty members, community instructors and student instructors. The Community Music Program also coordinates the Youth Honors Concert Band, Youth Honors Jazz Band, Flute Choir and Clarinet Choir, Westmoreland Apprentice Chorus and Winds ’n Jazz in June summer residence camp. Other ensembles associated with the Community Music Program are the Westmoreland Symphonic Winds, the Westmoreland Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Westmoreland Children’s Chorus and the Westmoreland Choral Society.
- The Seton Hill University Dance Academy offers classes in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, acro, hip-hop, and modern as well as private lessons, a program for home-schooled students, and the SHUDA Diamonds Competitive Team.
