Our Mission
The Seton Hill University Department of Theatre and Dance trains and educates artists to think and act critically, creatively and ethically in the diverse world of performing arts. We offer rigorous artistic training within a nurturing, liberal arts community that respects the dignity of each individual and their unique path. We prepare our students to be effective collaborators, communicators and creators, so they may serve the common good in their communities and the world.

Theatre & Dance Program Admission & Scholarship Requirements
In addition to the University’s requirements for admission, most theatre and dance majors must successfully complete an interview and/or audition with members of the theatre and dance faculty to be admitted into the Theatre and Dance Department. This process also makes students eligible to compete for a Visual & Performing Arts scholarship.
