Policies That Guide Our Campus Community

At Seton Hill University, policies support our mission, promote a safe and respectful learning and working environment, establish expectations for members of the campus community, and help ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

University policies may apply to the entire Seton Hill community or to particular groups, including students, faculty and staff. Because different policies apply depending on an individual's role at the University, policy resources are organized below by audience.

Members of the Seton Hill community are encouraged to become familiar with the policies applicable to them and to consult the appropriate policy resource for the most current information.

About University Policies

University policies establish institutional requirements and expectations on matters having broad application to the University community. Individual schools, departments and offices may maintain additional procedures, guidelines or requirements applicable to their particular operations.

University policies should be read together with other applicable University documents, including the University Catalog, employee materials, and applicable departmental or program requirements.

Where a University policy conflicts with applicable law or a controlling legal requirement, the applicable legal requirement governs.
