Deposit Information
Traditional Undergraduate Students
The freshman class is limited, so please make your deposit to confirm your intent to enroll and save your seat. The admissions deposit will be applied to the first semester's bill.
Resident Student: $100 admission deposit* and $150 housing deposit.
Commuter Student: $100 admission deposit.*
*Physician Assistant B.S./M.S. Program Student: An $800 admission deposit is required of all students accepted into the B.S./M.S. Program and is applied to your tuition at the graduate level of the program.
Deposit Refund Information
Admission Deposit Refund
- Fall Semester Start: The admission deposit is refundable if the Office of Undergraduate Admissions receives notification of withdrawal by May 1.
- Spring Semester Start: The admission deposit is nonrefundable.
Housing Deposit Refund
The housing deposit is refundable if the Office of Undergraduate Admissions receives notification of cancellation by May 1 for the fall semester. Spring semester housing deposits are nonrefundable.
If you choose not to enroll and do not request a refund by the applicable deadline, the deposit will be forfeited.

Graduate Students
For most graduate programs, the $50 nonrefundable deposit is good for the academic year for which you plan to begin your studies, unless you defer, and will be applied to your bill. If you do not enroll and do not defer, the deposit is forfeited. Exceptions include:
- Physical Therapy DPT Students: To reserve your seat in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program, please make your nonrefundable $500 deposit by the deadline specified on your acceptance letter.
- Physician Assistant M.S. Program Students: The $1000 nonrefundable advance deposit is good for the spring term of the academic year in which you plan to begin your Physician Assistant Program graduate studies. If you don't enroll, the deposit is forfeited.
- Orthodontics Program Students: As a resident of the Orthodontics Program, you pay a $7,000 nonrefundable deposit that is applied to your tuition. (Interns pay a $2,000 nonrefundable deposit that is applied to tuition.) The remaining tuition is due by June 20. Any intern who replaces a resident must pay any remaining balance due immediately.
