Business Administration Alumnus Joins Washington Commanders Human Resources
James Yezek, a 2015 graduate of Seton Hill, now works as the Director of People Operations for the Washington Commanders football team. Since graduating, he has accumulated over a decade of progressive human resources and talent leadership experience in entertainment and sports. So far in his career, Yezek has built skills in improving employee retention, designing learning and development programs, and helping create stronger pipelines for future leaders. His journey has led him to work for various companies such as Aramark Sports & Entertainment at PNC Park, UPMC, Supervalu, and Excela Health.
Yezek is a lifelong Setonian. Some of his earliest memories of campus are from childhood when his mother was pursuing her own studies. He continues to carry the legacy of The Sisters of Charity with him, reminding others that “fulfillment comes not through worldly success, but through a relationship with Jesus.”
Yezek was recently honored as a GOLD Award recipient. Seton Hill University honored its inaugural class of Griffin GOLD (Graduates of the Last Decade) Award recipients in October. The GOLD award recognizes recent graduates for their exceptional early career success, community leadership, and significant personal achievements.
