Seton Hill Graduates 407 Students in May Commencement Ceremonies
A weeklong celebration led up to Seton Hill University Commencement ceremonies on May 17. Included in the festivities:
SUNDAY: Senior Social - Hosted by Campus Ministries, the gathering followed Sunday mass and allowed students to spend time together and connect before graduation.
MONDAY: Midnight Breakfast - Hosted by SHU Programming Board, the beloved event gave students an opportunity to decompress after finals and enjoy an unconventional breakfast.
TUESDAY: Senior Week S’Mores - Fire pits, s’more making, and lawn games created a sense of comradery for seniors as they prepared to say goodbye.
WEDNESDAY: Senior Week Water Slide- Students enjoyed a blast from the past with a soap soaked tarp slip n’ slide.
THURSDAY: Grad Bash - The celebration honored graduating seniors, as well as those who graduated in August and December of 2024. The event allowed students to reflect on their time together and revel in their accomplishments. Grad Bash was hosted by President Mary C. Finger and the Seton Hill Alumni Association at the Regina House.
FRIDAY: Baccalaureate Mass - The long-standing tradition welcomed graduates and their families to Saint Joseph Chapel. The mass provided reflection on the students’ journeys and a blessing for their future.
The 407 graduates included 6 international students, 6 military students, and 68 students who took advantage of the Online Bachelor’s Degree and Certificates Program.
