Charlie enjoys a career as both a performer and a music teacher in the Pittsburgh area. An avid orchestral musician, Charlie regularly plays viola with the Westmoreland Symphony, Butler Symphony, and the Youngstown Symphony, among others. He has participated in summer music festivals such as the National Repertory Orchestra and Endless Mountain Music Festival, and has played onstage with world-renowned artists such as Josh Groban and Il Volo. Charlie also enjoys teaching students online and in-person and a The Music Note in Pittsburgh. He has taught musicians of various ages and playing levels from all over the country and has helped students win All-State and youth orchestra auditions. He has served as music faculty at Seton Hill Summer Music Institute and worked as a sectional coach at the Summer Music Academy in Erie. Charlie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music degree at Florida State University, a Master of Music in Viola Performance at Penn State University, and an Advanced Music Studies Certificate at Carnegie Mellon.
