When I began working at SHU: June 2026

Where did I go to college, and what did I major in?: I attended Mount Saint Mary's University and I majored in Business with a Spanish minor

What inspires me about working in college admissions?: I love guiding students and families through the college search because it's such a major milestone. Plus, having gone through this experience recently with three of my own children, I truly understand the process from both sides!

What advice do I always give to high school students applying to college?: I think it is really important for students to visit a wide variety of schools: big state universities, small liberal arts colleges, city campuses, and quiet rural ones. You won't truly know what fits until you experience them firsthand. I think finding the right college is as much about finding a place that feels like home as it is about academics. 

What’s my favorite place on Seton Hill’s campus - and why?: I love the drive up the hill through the trees. There is just something truly special about it.
