Jennifer "Jen" Brilmyer
Dr. Jen Brilmyer earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and Adapted Physical Activity from Slippery Rock University in 2009 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Chatham University in 2011. She then went on to complete a Doctor of Heath Science (DHSc) in Rehabilitation Science and Healthcare Leadership from Drexel University in 2020.
A Board-Certified Pediatric Clinical Specialist, Dr. Brilmyer spent more than a decade at The Children's Institute of Pittsburgh, where she worked primarily in a hospital-based outpatient setting. She also has experience in inpatient and school-based settings and currently works in early intervention. Dr. Brilmyer is a Level 2 APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor and spent many years serving as a Site Coordinator of Clinical Education (SCCE). Since 2016, she has served as an adjunct professor at Chatham University. Dr. Brilmyer has presented at numerous state and national conferences on pediatric-centered topics including chronic pain, power training, intensive therapy models, education, and teaching innovations. At Seton Hill University, she serves as the NCAA Faculty Athletics Representative (FAR).
