French - Education (Pre K-12 Teaching Certification)
Prepare to Become a French Teacher
At Seton Hill, you have two options for preparing to earn teaching certification:
- you can earn a bachelor's degree as an undergraduate student while also fulfilling all of the academic requirements for teaching certification, or
- you can add teaching certification preparation courses to a bachelor's degree you've already earned at Seton Hill (or elsewhere) as a postbaccalaureate student.
Seton Hill is approved by the Pa. Dept. of Education to provide education certification preparation. If you plan to teach in another state, you can do that, too; Pennsylvania has signed an Interstate Certification Agreement. The French-Education Program at Seton Hill will prepare you to obtain certification in grades Pre K - 12.
