Melissa Newell

Bio

Hello! My name is Missy Newell, and I'm very excited to join the SHUDA family! I received my B.A. in Music and a minor in theatre from Seton Hill in 2005. I also finished my M.A. in Inclusive Education at SHU in 2011. I taught chorus and music in the public school system for 5 years, and have choreographed the musicals for Valley High School and Saltsburg High School for four years. I cannot wait to teach jazz and hip hop this fall and look forward to a successful and fun year with the students!
