MESSAGE FROM PRESIDENT MARY FINGER

March 26, 2020

Dear Seton Hill Students,

On March 18, I shared with you Seton Hill University’s plan to provide a prorated credit for room and board charges for the Spring 2020 semester to those students impacted by the decision to close the Residence Halls for the remainder of the semester due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As I indicated, returning underclass students will have those credits used toward an existing balance and/or toward a future semester’s room and board charges at Seton Hill for the 2020-21 academic year while graduating seniors will receive a refund.

The staff of the Office of Financial Services and the Registrar is working as quickly and diligently as possible to properly credit affected student balances. These are unique circumstances and these credits are being applied manually as student accounts are reviewed one-by-one. We request your patience as our staff members take the needed time to ensure the accuracy of each student account.

With the Fall 2020 Semester class registration window opening in mid-April, we will also work to ensure that this account crediting process does not have an impact on your ability to register for classes.

If you have any questions about your individual account, please contact the Office of Financial Services and the Registrar at HelpFinReg@setonhill.edu or (724) 830-1010.

Thank you for being understanding as we continue to work through the issues brought about by this unprecedented situation.

Sincerely,

Dr. Finger
