The women's soccer team saw their two game winning streak come to an end on Wednesday afternoon with a 2-0 shutout loss at home to Kutztown.  With the loss the Griffins fall to 2-3 overall and 2-3 in PSAC play.  Kutztown controlled play for most of the first half, outshooting the Griffins 11-1, but could not score and the game entered the half tied at 0.  Kutztown was able to get on the scoreboard early in the second half, scoring on a header just 27 seconds into the half.  The Golden Bears extended their lead to 2-0 with a goal in the 64th minute.  Bethany Winter recorded 8 saves in net.  The Griffins will travel to Mansfield on Saturday with a kick set for 1:30 PM.
