The Griffin track and field program opened its 2012-13 season in style at the Tiffin Open.  The team hit three provisional marks in their first meet and sets four new school records in the process.  Calsie Boyd hit two provisional marks and set one new school record.  Her high jump of 1.68m set a new school record and was an NCAA provisional mark.  She also hit the NCAA provisional mark in the triple jump with a leap of 11.60m.  Aron Kurzinski set a new school record and qualified provisionally in the long jump (7.34m).  Alexis Hawkins broke women's long jump school record (5.34m)  and Martina Milcic broke school record in weight throw (13.08m).  Jade Woodridge won the 60m dash in a time of 8.17.  Melissa Seagraves and Nina Gladysiewski were second and third following Woodridge.  Megan Cala was first in the 800m run in a time of 2:23.23.  Jeannie Bujdos continued her successful sophomore season with a first place finish in the 3000m run (10:29.70).  Josh Davis was first in the 800m run (1:59.50).  Jon Bogert and Dom Camasso finished 1-2 in the 1 mile run.  Seton Hill will return to the track at the Marietta Open on January 19th.
