National Entrepreneurship Week, February 25-29, 2008, established by the U.S. House of Representatives in 2006, and celebrated at Seton Hill University, is a collaboration of entrepreneurship educators and civic leaders nationwide promoting local, state, and national events to prepare today's students to be the entrepreneurial leaders of the future. It was created to honor America’s entrepreneurs and promote the idea of entrepreneurship as a viable career option to compete in the emerging world market.

Seton Hill participated in the first National Entrepreneurship Week held in February 2007. CareerWorks, E-Magnify and Alumni Affairs worked in conjunction to develop an evening of events for students which encouraged understanding and application of entrepreneurial skills in real world settings. This year, "Entre Talk: What’s Your Story?," is the title of a series of classroom speakers and student luncheons that build on last year’s initiatives. Entrepreneurs and social entrepreneurs will be speaking in classes across campus and select students have been invited to share lunch with the speakers to discuss entrepreneurship within their discipline.

In addition, on February 27th, the Farrell Entrepreneurial Leadership Series will present "Entrepreneurs: When Do New Ventures Make Sense?," the second panel discussion in the series. The featured panelists are Terry O. Collier, CPA, president, Terry Collier & Associates, PC, and Amy L. Veltri, PE, BCEE, President, Novel Geo-Environmental, LLC.

The February 27 event will take place in Room 206 of the Administration Building on Seton Hill's Greensburg, Pa. campus. Light refreshments at 6 p.m., followed by the panel discussion at 6:30. Seating is limited, so please RSVP to mendish@setonhill.edu or 724-830-4637.
