Greensburg, Pa. – Dr. Laura Sloan Patterson has recently joined Seton Hill University as an assistant professor of English. Patterson received both a doctorate and a master’s in English from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tenn, and her bachelor’s degree in English literature from Princeton University, Princeton, N. J.

Patterson’s areas of specialization include composition and writing pedagogy, as well as American, southern and women’s literature.

Originally from Raleigh, N.C., Patterson now resides in Greensburg, Pa.
