Seton Hill University has elected three prominent community leaders to its Board of Trustees: Lawrence S. Busch, Kevin L. Colosimo and Robert A. DeMichiei. Each began a three-year term on June 10, 2013.

“Lawrence, Kevin and Robert bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to Seton Hill University’s Board of Trustees,” said JoAnne Boyle, president. “Their commitment to community service and their deep understanding of business will serve Seton Hill well in the coming years.”

Lawrence S. Busch of Ligonier, Pa. is Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of Richard K. Mellon and Sons. He is a Trustee and Assistant Treasurer of Richard King Mellon Foundation and R.K. Mellon Family Foundation. Mr. Busch and his wife, Cynthia, were recognized by Bishop Lawrence Brandt and the Diocese of Greensburg in 2011 with induction as members of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem. He is a Knight in the Federal Association, U.S.A. of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta. Mr. Busch is Trustee and President of the Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of Greensburg and a former Trustee of the Catholic Institute for the Diocese of Greensburg. In addition, Mr. Busch is a former Trustee and Chairman of the Finance Committee and Audit Committee for the Valley School of Ligonier. Mr. Busch earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and his Masters of Science degree in Taxation from DePaul University. He was an adjunct faculty member at Notre Dame College of Ohio and at the University of Akron, Graduate School of Business. He is admitted to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania. Lawrence and Cynthia Busch have three children, Sara Whetzel, Dr. Ryan, and Dr. James. They are parishioners of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

Kevin L. Colosimo of Pittsburgh, Pa. is managing partner of Burleson LLP's Pittsburgh office and serves on the firm’s executive committee. He concentrates his practice in the areas of energy law and litigation, serving oil and gas exploration and production companies across the Appalachian Basin. He is a frequent lecturer on legal and energy industry topics and serves on the Marcellus Roundtable of the University of Pittsburgh's Institute of Politics. Mr. Colosimo earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Duquesne University in 1997 and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1994. He has numerous non-profit affiliations and previously served on the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine Board of Directors. He served as a founding director of the Allegheny County Parks Foundation and is former chairman of the Erie County Board of Viewers. He makes his home near Wexford, Pa.

Robert A. DeMichiei of Gibsonia, Pa. has been Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at UPMC since 2004. Previously, Mr. DeMichiei held various executive finance roles with the General Electric Company (GE), including Manager of Finance, Global Business Development and Integration for GE Energy, and Chief Financial Officer for GE Transportation Systems’ Global Service Operations. He also was a 10-year employee for Price Waterhouse in Pittsburgh. Mr. DeMichiei is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and is a certified public accountant. Rob currently serves as the Finance Committee Chairman of the United Way of Allegheny County and is on the Board of Directors of UPMC Hamot and UPMC Passavant Hospitals. Rob also serves as the Treasurer for Hampton Boys Lacrosse. Mr. DeMichiei and his wife, Amy, served on the Honorary Host Committee for the event celebrating the presentation of the Seton Hill University Elizabeth Ann Seton Medal to Catharine Ryan in April 2012.
